What the app adds
Search standing at the counter
Look up any model in a couple of taps while you have the gun in your hands. The dealer's asking price against real sold results, before you commit to anything.
Value your own gun
Pick the model, say what condition it is in and what comes with it, and get a private-sale range plus trade-in and auction figures — each built from sold comparables, not guesswork.
Watch a price
Save an advert and get a note the morning it is reduced or sells. Most guns come down twice before they go; the app tells you when.
A deal score, not just a number
Every listing scored against the model guide, its condition, what is included and its provenance — so the cheapest advert and the best-value advert stop being confused with each other.
Certificate filtering
Tell it once whether you hold a shotgun or firearm certificate and it stops showing you guns you cannot legally buy. No certificate number is asked for or stored.
One morning digest
A single notification at seven, covering price cuts and new stock against your saved searches. Nothing else, ever.
Be told when it lands
It is being built on the same data as this site — currently 108 sold results, growing with every sale we add. Leave an email and you will hear once, when there is something to try.
Straight about where it is
The app is in development and there is no release date. The website is the working product today, and it is free — if what you need is a price before you view a gun, look it up here and you have it.
The Gunvault does not sell guns and is not a registered firearms dealer. Any transfer is between you, the seller and an RFD, on sight of a valid certificate.
